What is the time frame to complete roofing projects?
Regular, residential roofing projects are typically completed in a couple of days. Larger projects due to size or extensive damage may take a little longer. Weather is a consideration as well.
Do my existing shingles and flashings have to be removed?
We evaluate each project individually, so the answer to this question varies from customer to customer. Typically, removing old shingles is a good rule of thumb as we can inspect the area underneath and provide a solid foundation for the future. We will make efforts to maintain your existing roof flashings; however, these are a critical component to the stability of your roofing job. In most cases, we recommend a replacement of the flashings for optimum stability. We also install ice and water shields as a protective layer in areas that are most prone to condensation and ice.
Who is responsible for clean-up after roof installation?
Your specialists from Rapid Roofing will remove all debris created during the roofing project. We will do an inspection of your property and ensure that you are completely satisfied.
Can you offer any tips for roof maintenance?
It’s a good idea to check your roof once or twice a year for any damage to shingles, cracks or deterioration. Inside your home, cracked drywall or peeling paint can be a result of damage on your roof.
